Generate API Keys

API keys allow external systems, websites, and applications to securely communicate with your chatbot automation platform.

Creating a New API Key

1. Navigate to Settings → API Management.

2. Click Generate New API Key.

3. Enter a descriptive name.

4. Select appropriate permissions.

5. Click Create Key.

Available Permissions

Read Access

Allows applications to retrieve data.

Examples:

• View chatbot information

• Read conversation history

• Access analytics reports

Write Access

Allows applications to create or modify resources.

Examples:

• Create contacts

• Send messages

• Update chatbot settings

Admin Access

Provides full platform access.

Examples:

• Manage integrations

• Configure webhooks

• Modify account settings

Managing API Keys

You can:

• Rename existing keys

• Regenerate compromised keys

• Revoke unused keys

• Monitor API usage activity

Security Recommendations

• Create separate keys for different applications.

• Immediately revoke compromised keys.

• Grant only the permissions required.

• Review active keys regularly.
